Playing with Live Writer….

Took Mabie to get groomed today……….her first official trim.  Franco’s came highly recommended.  I pull up…I walk in……….had to carry Mabie because she’s nervous when dogs are barking.  The place is old……….OLD!  There are built in crates everywhere………..a darling older gal shoves a plain piece of paper my way……I quickly figure out that they need her name, breed and what I want done.  A man comes up and takes Mabie out of my arms without telling me who he is……….he didn’t baby talk Mabie…….or me for that matter.  Off she goes……..I write my information down,  pay the $35 and off I went.  I left feeling like I had abandoned her.  I was so worried she was going to be a nervous wreck with all the commotion. there must have been about 30 dogs there.  But when I picked her up, she looked beautiful.   (Loving this Live Writer……I edited this photo making it sharper so you could see her curls better…I also used Instant Photo frame)IMG_4073Thank God she doesn’t need to be trimmed too often.  I’m not looking forward to that experience again.  I’m sure they were very nice…..it just made me realize I’ve turned into one of those crazy dog people.

OH………I forgot to show you my new sandals.  IMG_4077(I framed this one differently and used the color pop editing)

I had asked the TCB readers for advice on what their favorite summer sandals were.  I am loving these slip on strappy crocs.  They’re a bit dusty from my walk…..but aren’t they cute.  Just had the toes done today too.

And here’s a sneak peek at my $10 table.  It’s going to be painted black soon.  That cardboard is actually holding the beveled glass top.  Yep  $10!

I used Photo Paper framing and added text………LOVE Live Writer!

Time to start the weekend.

Last night, I saw your post about Live Writer on Today's Creative Blog, then I downloaded it for myself. I had become so frustrated by Blogger...slow uploading of photos then anytime I move away from a post I was working on, the text would be all moved around when I returned to it! I'm guessing that you had similar problems. Anyway, thank you for letting me know about it...I just know I am going to love it!

Mabie looks adorable. I have 2 Yorkies, so I know all about the stress of leaving them for grooming. Glad it worked out well for both of you!

And last, but not least, I just got some Croc sandals recently...a between-the-toe style...and I love them. They're so comfy!

Have a great weekend!

My doggie has to be groomed about every 5 weeks in the summer. He grows 2 inches of hair every 5 weeks!!! It's just ridiculous! Maybe is so cute!

Thought I'd leave a comment while Windows Live Writer is downloading... Shawn @ Eclectic Whimsy had a lengthy post about Live Writer a year or so ago. It was one of those things I "planned" on looking into cause it sounded kinda neat. Thank you so much for mentioning it and jogging my memory!

And my Mom ordered two of these crocs http://shop.crocs.com/pc-112-4-sassari.aspx?navcategories=3,130 in the khaki/white and I think the chocolate/gold to wear to church. She is in love with them.

P.S. Super cute toes!

Catching up on your blog! Mabie looks adorable. I'm telling ya taking my 3 little ones to the groomer is traumatic. I found a really good mobile groomer last month and that was better...although honestly I'm so codependent with these pups...
love the new crocs!
