We’ve been sucked into the vacation time vortex…….one I only experience at my sister’s home. I never know what day it is, what time it is………We stay up way later than I can ever manage at home…….unless I’m scrapping of course……..and we sleep way later than I ever do. The extra hour with the time change doesn’t hurt.
Mabie was starting to get her groove on by the 3rd day. She had figured out that Bella the cat was nothing to mess around with and that if she just ignored her she might just go away……. And if she ran around the yard, the kids in their pajama’s might just play tag. So while I got them breakfast……….they wore Mabie out.
Yes, it took a long time to make them frosted flakes. No sugar cereal for my son on school days, so he was all excited that frosted flakes could be eaten daily if wanted.
Not the best shot of all of them…….but it shows where we would eat most our meals. Jim and I would drink our coffee ………….we have our own coffee maker we keep in her basement kitchen…..all we have to do is borrow some coffee cups……I mean Cocoa Mugs.
After laying around and doing nothing for hours, we told the kids we would take them to the movies and to Target to get a toy……..because Lord knows they don’t have nearly enough. The boys are seen eating again……this time we fed them another nutritious meal of Caesar's Pizza while they worked on their transformers………why transformers? Because that’s what movie they saw that day………….Kacie and I snuck to a different movie. The Proposal.
(not the kind of
snuck in that you don’t pay…..the men took the kids, and we saw a different movie)
Another relaxing day on vacation. I realize my banter may be very boring, but I’m actually writing all this down to journal………..what a concept huh?

Kim,
I am glad you had such a great time! It is nice to do things that are out of the ordinary. We are the same way when we go to Las Vegas and stay with my sister. Welcome back, it is fun to read and see what you did in Utah! Oh, I am here for a week now...always a great place to visit!
Hugs,
~Victoria~
